CICERO, Ill. — A 17-year-old student died after a shooting near Morton East High School. The attack happened Thursday around 3:20 p.m. in the 2100 block of South 59th Avenue. It came right after school let out.
Police found the teen with gunshot wounds. He went to a hospital but did not survive. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office named him Johan Adaree-Sanchez.
